Does Concrete always crack?
It does! We do our absolute best to tell the concrete where to crack with controls joints. Every layout we do, whether it’s with sawcuts or hand tooled joints, we focus on crack control. This means that survey your project and take note of any columns, fence posts, or corners of buildings that will help us decide where to install your control joints. Sometimes concrete will crack outside of these joints, but it is very unlikely.
How do you ensure the basement walls won’t leak?
We utilize W.R. “Mel-Rol” liquid membrane on the earth facing side of your foundation walls. Once that cures on, then we install a dimble board product that help to pull moisture away from the walls. We additionally install a “drain-tile” which is a socked corrugated pipe that helps direct water away from the foundation and also adds to the soils ability to retain water. This system comes with a 15 year warranty.
Does Provision build have a warranty?
We do! We warranty our installs for up to a year on workmanship quality. That way, if you notice something with the concrete not looking right, you can rest easy knowing that Provision Build will honor the warranty and make sure you are taken care of. In short, we are going to treat you just like our own.
